Karr started the Moonrise Fund, an early-stage gaming investment fund, which wanted to be founded on “new,” innovative graphics. Fortunately, Karr took the chance to do something through Glitch. Women, women, LGBTQ+ individuals all of them play games, but often don’t get the same opportunity to make games as those made by the historically white and male industry over the decades. Karr felt that the gaming audience was being woefully underserved. Good news, yet what about pitching to the publisher, marketing, releasing it on consoles, or running a company? Turns out that information isn’t easily accessible to many developers looking for success. Some didn’t have the money initial needed to start their projects, while others just possessed little practical knowledge to publish a game.
